The dominant model of AI today is the same as the dominant model of social media: your attention, your data, and your work, monetised by people you will never meet, governed by a policy team that does not know your name.

That model is incompatible with whole categories of work — privileged conversations with a client, a patient, a partner, yourself. For those people, the question is not whether AI is useful. It is whether the AI they are allowed to use can be theirs.

Deci Ventures exists to build the AI for the people that model excludes.
